Discipleship Homes

What to Expect

Follow Jesus. Live in Community. Be Sent.

Life in a Revive Discipleship House is an intentional season of following Jesus, growing in biblical community, and being equipped to make disciples.

We don't simply provide housing. We cultivate disciples.

Our goal isn't simply to change where someone lives.

Our goal is to see Jesus transform how they live.

Our homes are built on one simple conviction:

Jesus Christ changes lives.

We believe lasting transformation does not come through behavior modification, religious activity, or simply following rules. It comes through abiding in Jesus Christ, obeying His Word, and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us from the inside out.

If you are simply looking for housing, Revive probably isn't the right fit. If you are looking to intentionally pursue Jesus Christ alongside other believers, we'd love to meet you.

Our Foundation

Christ Is Our Foundation

Everything we do begins with Jesus. He is the foundation of this ministry. He is the reason these homes exist. He is the One who transforms lives.

Our rhythms, leadership, relationships, and expectations all exist for one purpose: to help people know Jesus more deeply and become more like Him.

We believe discipleship is far more than learning information about Jesus. It is learning to follow Him. To trust Him. To obey Him. To become like Him.

“Remain in me, and I will remain in you... For apart from me you can do nothing.”

John 15:4–5

Our desire for every resident

  • Grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Learn to hear and obey God's Word.
  • Develop lifelong spiritual disciplines.
  • Experience healing and restoration.
  • Become equipped to disciple others.

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations...”

Matthew 28:19–20

More Than a Place to Live

Jesus didn't simply call people to believe in Him. He called them to follow Him.

That's exactly what a Revive Discipleship House is designed to help people do.

We believe lasting transformation happens through abiding in Christ, living in biblical community, and learning to obey God's Word together.

We are not

  • A homeless shelter
  • A treatment center
  • A halfway house
  • A recovery program

We are

A discipleship community.

While many men come from difficult backgrounds — addiction, incarceration, broken families, or seasons of hardship — those things do not define them.

Jesus does.

Our desire is not simply to help someone get back on their feet. Our desire is to help them become mature followers of Jesus Christ who are equipped to help others do the same.

Life Together

We believe discipleship happens best in community. Life in a Revive home is intentionally shared.

We study Scripture together.

We pray together.

We worship together.

We serve together.

We eat together.

We carry one another's burdens.

Commitment

What We Ask of Residents

Because community matters, every resident commits to actively participating in the life of the home.

  • Pursuing Jesus wholeheartedly.
  • Participating in the discipleship rhythms of the house.
  • Respecting fellow residents.
  • Caring for shared spaces.
  • Working toward financial responsibility.
  • Living with honesty, humility, and teachability.
  • Receiving biblical correction when necessary.

Grace and Accountability

Nobody arrives at Revive with life completely figured out. We all need God's grace. We also believe grace and truth belong together.

Because we love one another, we encourage one another. We challenge one another. We hold one another accountable.

When struggles arise, our goal is never punishment. Our goal is always restoration. Every difficult conversation is rooted in love, humility, prayer, and a desire to help one another become more like Christ.

A reminder

These expectations are not about earning God's love. They are simply the fruit of people choosing to follow Jesus together.

A Season of Preparation

Living in a Revive Discipleship House is not meant to be permanent. It is a season of preparation. Residents commit to a minimum one-year stay because lasting growth takes time.

During that season, our prayer is that every resident leaves:

More deeply rooted in Jesus Christ.
More spiritually mature.
More responsible in everyday life.
Better equipped to serve others.
Ready to make disciples wherever God leads next.

We measure success by faithfulness to Christ, spiritual maturity, and lives that bear lasting fruit.

Is Revive Right for You?

We offer this not to exclude anyone, but to help you honestly discern whether Revive aligns with what you are seeking. Our door is always open for a conversation.
